๐ Advancing Industrial IoT with Arrowhead fPVN: Latest Developments Presented
As part of our ongoing commitment to driving innovation in flexible production environments, the Eclipse Arrowhead consortium recently held a bi-weekly project meeting where key technical updates were presented on the implementation of scalable, service-oriented IoT systems. This session featured a detailed presentation by Jan van Deventer and Torbjรถrn Holm, focusing on backend system architectures and their integration with digital twins and industrial simulation environments.
๐ง Technical Focus: Service-Oriented and Model-Based Implementation
The presented work reflects a model-based engineering approach for implementing interoperable and scalable IIoT systems using Java. This architecture enables integration of components such as digital twins and supports dynamic configuration in system-of-systems environments. These capabilities are crucial for enabling flexible, resilient, and intelligent production networks.
